Exploration With Purpose
The Foundation promotes responsible diving practices, supports scientific and cultural research, and contributes to the preservation of maritime heritage.
Henrietta Marie Pilgrimage 2026
Led by UAS in Key West alongside Diving With a Purpose, Stanford University, and NOAA, Black divers embarked on a sacred underwater pilgrimage to the 1700 Henrietta Marie slave ship memorial site, conducted submerged oral history interviews, and held a libation ceremony at the Higgs Beach African Refugee Cemetery.
